Summer Outdoor Kids Parties in London

We’re already in March so we’re looking forward to spring and summer kids parties in London. We love London for being so massive and urban but at the same time very green and quiet, with lots of green spaces incorporated into the city canvas. One of our favourites, Hampstead Heath, contains one of the most popular spring and summer venues we work with- Peggy Jay Centre, known locally as ‘1 o’clock club’ popular playgroup venue.

Did you know Peggy Jay was a local activities and politician who fought to preserve the Hampstead Heath?

Sometimes it takes a fight to preserve such great natural resources as lovely Heath.

Another lovely indoor/outdoor venue in London that we love to work with is Welsh Harp Environmental Centre near Brent Cross shopping centre and Wembley stadium. It’s a venue with very generous amount of lovely outdoor space, with beautiful trees and kids-friendly woodland surrounding it, including massive oak tree which provides us with shade on a hot sunny day (more of these please!). It also has a generous private parking so it’s perfect for guests from all over North, West and North-West London. It’s our favourite venue for Nature Treasure Hunt Party.

Welsh Harp is run by the charity Thames21 which is committed to protecting river Thames surrounding natural spaces in London and beyond. The charity is also committed to providing environmental education for school children. If you grew up in Brent, may remember a visit at the Centre with their school! We’ve met such parents!
