A Big Hello!
A belated Happy New Year from all of us at Puddles and a big hello from me! I am delighted to say that I will be taking my turn at the helm of the Puddles pirate ship and continuing Megan’s work on this blog and our social media channels. I thought I’d kick things off with some more information about me!
My name is Anna, I have been working for Puddles since September and what a time it’s been! From arts and crafts and games, to treasure hunts with so many princesses, pirates, superheroes, fairies, animals, explorers and more, each party has been a delightful adventure in itself. I’m so excited to be sharing more insight into these adventures with you.
These weekly blogs will feature everything from entertainer profiles so you can meet our team, essential information on our themes, venues and party formats, and maybe even some fun creative ideas for occasions you may be hosting yourself! In the usual fashion, here I enclose my entertainer’s profile!
Introduce yourself! My name is Anna and I am 22 years old.
Where are you from? I grew up in Berkshire, but now live in Finsbury Park.
What do you when not working for Puddles? I am currently training full time at Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company and having the best time!
What are your favourite hobbies? I love reading. Books are always top of my wish list! And going to the theatre; I try to go at least once a week.
How long have you been working for Puddles? Four months and counting…
What is your favourite party game? Musical Statues is a firm favourite. I never miss an opportunity to showcase my best dance moves.
What is your favourite Puddles theme? I love a fairy party. We don’t get enough of a chance to prance around as adults so it’s always fun on treasure hunts to flutter around with the children.
What’s your top tip for throwing a great party? Come armed with lots of energy in the fuel tank, spare balloons and always have a bin-bag on the go…nobody likes to tidy up with a tummy full of cake.
Describe yourself in three words: warm, enthusiastic, quirky
What is your favourite party food? Cheese sandwiches. They take me straight back to my childhood.
If you could be a cartoon character who would you be? Tigger, his energy is infectious.
What is a fun fact about yourself? I’m mildly addicted to board games!
